RECENT PROJECTS

RAPID has delivered crushing and screening solutions for leading mining, construction, and quarrying operations across Australia.

Our project portfolio reflects decades of experience supporting Clients with high-production crushing circuits, specialised plant configurations, and reliable project delivery in demanding operating environments.

From long-term mine site operations to complex remote mobilisations, RAPID has built a reputation for safety, performance, and operational reliability across a wide range of commodities and materials.

Mount Cattlin

A large mobile conveyor system feeding a stockpile.

RAPID mobilised to Mt Cattlin in July 2017 to provide crushing and screening services for primary ore. Since commencement, we continually improved our circuit and service offering while building a strong long-term relationship with the Client through multiple ownership changes and contract extensions.

Over the life of the project, RAPID crushed more than 10 million tonnes of ore. We also pioneered the handling of contaminated ore through interfacing with the Client’s ore sorters, improving overall product yield and supporting operational performance at the site.

RAVENSWOOD GOLD

Mine site mobile crushing circuit including crusher, screen, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.

RAPID built a strong relationship with the team at Ravenswood Gold by delivering flexible solutions that supported ongoing site operations. Our scope ranged from the hire of mobile machinery and support equipment through to complete three-stage crushing and screening circuits.

Ravenswood Gold also became the first Client in Australia to hire RAPID’s flagship Jonsson L160 mobile jaw crusher. Operating double shift for twelve months, the unit exceeded performance expectations while demonstrating the reliability and productivity of RAPID’s high-capacity mobile crushing fleet.

GREENBUSHES LITHIUM

Mine site mobile crushing circuit including crusher and screens.

RAPID provided crushing services for Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes operation, processing spodumene ore to varying product specifications throughout the contract. This flexibility allowed the Client to respond to changing market conditions and maximise production during periods of strong lithium pricing.

To support the operation, RAPID supplied a complete three-stage mobile crushing circuit together with support equipment including a 25-tonne crane, articulated haul trucks, and multiple front-end loaders. The integrated solution delivered reliable production capacity, operational flexibility, and efficient site support throughout the project.

Cobar Copper Operations

RAPID mobilised equipment and personnel to a remote site in New South Wales to support a major mining operation under demanding outback conditions.

The project required a diverse workforce comprising local Cobar personnel together with drive-in and fly-in crews from New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. Despite challenging weather and site conditions, RAPID successfully delivered the works ahead of the Covid-19 pandemic major disruptions.

The project demonstrated RAPID’s ability to mobilise skilled teams, adapt to complex operational environments, and deliver reliable outcomes in remote Australian mining conditions.
