Contract Crushing and Hire

Rapid Crushing & Screening is a privately owned Western Australian company, established in 1978, servicing the mining, construction and quarrying industries with crushing and screening services.

We take pride in being a specialist, supplying a large range of crushing and screening plant on a contract or hire basis throughout Australia.

Rapids have been awarded major crushing and screening contracts with major mining companies and civil and earthmoving contractor throughout W.A and Australia.

The latest high production equipment is manned by experienced personnel and we maintain an excellent safety record.

The crushing business is supported by a modern office and workshop facility based in Maddington, Perth, WA that provides the infrastructure to fabricate service and rebuild our equipment.

Manufacturing & Support Facilities

Rapid Crushing utilizes the expertise of our own manufacturing company, Irvine Engineering (WA) Pty Ltd, also based at Maddington, to design, manufacture and maintain crushing equipment.

This support gives Rapids excellent plant productivity and reliability. Our plan is for crushing plants to be as effective on the last day of a contract as it was on the first.

Rapids focus on continually improving production rates with adjustments to the plant to increase hourly and daily production. We do not rely on sub contractors to avoid potential loss of control over the quality of plant and reliability of supply.

Rapid Crushing is experienced in working in remote locations with limited access and limited communications. To this end, we have created a culture within the Company to be self sufficient on site and have developed a workforce that has the ability to make do with the resources on hand.
